My name is James Butler I live in California. Due to the war in Gaza, my friends Mohammed and his wife Sarah have lost everything, their home and source of income. They are at risk of famine and struggling. I have deceide to launch this campaign on their behalf. Below is their story.
My name is Mohammed Suleiman, a fitness coach from northern Gaza. I am married to my wife Sarah and father to a young boy Sameeh, who was only one when the war began. He is now three. He has spent half his life in war. Before the war I had a happy home, strong community and worked passionately helping others through fitness. j
We live in northern Gaza, our neighborhood has been bombed and destroyed, three of my cousins were killed. We have been displaced multiple times. Living in displacement is indescribable. We lack food, clean water, and electricity. We have all lost a dangerous amount of weight due to malnutrition and suffer stomach pain caused by contaminated water. We have been through repeated trauma and heartbreak.
Due to the closure of the crossings the cost of food has skyrocketed, all of the savings I have worked for have now been exhausted. My gym is destroyed so I have no source of income or work. After such a long and painful journey a new wave of war hit, more violent and devasting than the last.
We are struggling and desperately need help. Your donation will help us provide food, clean water and essential supplies for my family.
